Throughout the majority of my life, I've defined myself as an athlete. After 5 surgeries, 2 ACL and meniscus ruptures, 2 torn labrums-both in my shooting shoulder, a bilateral fasciotomy which required me to be in a wheelchair for some weeks, multiple muscle tears and bone fractures, came a huge reality check. What am I going to do when the ball stops bouncing. I realized that basketball was merely an activity I pursued, not my sole identity. But i was facing an identity crisis. Who was I outside of my sport?
In recent years, I've felt a strong urge to support aspiring professional athletes on their journey. With a bachelor's degree in psychology, and extensive experience as a professional athlete at the highest level, I've observed that many athletes grapple with mindfulness and overall mental well being.
My mission is not only to aid athletes but also to assist anyone in bridging the gap between their physical prowess and mental well-being.
